2-Year-Old Dies In Tragic Drowning Incident in Nanuet

A tragedy in Nanuet Sunday after a 2-year-old toddler drowned in a backyard pool.

Clarkstown Police Officers responded to the home on Tennyson Drive just after 8:00pm Sunday to find the family performing CPR on their unconscious toddler.

The child was rushed to Montefiore – Nyack Hospital by Nanuet Ambulance where they were later pronounced dead.

The incident is presently under investigation.
