2020 LIVE Election Updates – Updated 10:44pm
With polls closing in some states, Monsey.info will keep you updated on the most up to date and accurate information regarding the outcome of the election.
The election outcome is based not on the number of votes for each candidate, but rather by the numbers elected to the electoral college. Each state has a different number of electorates, and the “worth” of each state is different. The goal of each candidate is to reach 270, which makes them a majority.
NOTE: As the night progresses, there will be many different exit polls given by different news outlets. Do not let them fool you and wait for the official results on each state as they come out.
Update 10:44pm: While these polls show the likely winners of the race, multiple factors including early and mail in voting are making these predictions somewhat unreliable. The early tallies have quickly flipped in multiple states. PLEASE WAIT FOR ALL OFFICIAL RESULTS FROM THE STATES.
