8-Year-Old Boy In Critical Condition After Being Struck in Spring Valley

An eight year old boy is in critical condition Monday evening after being struck in a hit and run in Spring Valley.

According to reports, the child was on Union Road near Park Street after 6:30pm Monday evening when a man struck them before speeding off.

Hatzalah rushed to the scene and transported the boy in critical condition to Westchester Medical Center with a head injury.

The Spring Valley Police Department quickly took up the chase of the fleeing man, taking him into custody blocks away.
