An event in Monsey scheduled for Monday June 3rd at the Atria, aims to educate women on a wide range of health topics.
The event, endorsed by organizations including Hatzolah, Chai Lifeline and Bikur Cholim of Rockland, comes during the largest measles outbreak seen in the United States since it was named eradicated nearly 25 years ago.
The event will touch on the topics if SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), Autism, The MMR Vaccine, the Flu, Measles, and much more.
Following the speakers, which include Rabbi Simcha Scholar of Chai Lifeline,and Pediatrician Dr. Yakov Kiffel, there will be a Q&A session as well as the opportunity to speak one on one with Doctors and professionals.
A spotlight has been thrown on Rockland County as one of the centers of the outbreak, joining Willimasburg and Boro Park.
Another recent event in Rockland showcased the Anti-Vaccination movement, and drew a large crowd.
