ASHAR Expansion Gets Preliminary Approval From Clarkstown Planning Board

The Town of Clarkstown’s Planning Board this week granted preliminary approval to ASHAR for its planned extension.

The Adolph Schreiber Hebrew Academy of Rockland (ASHAR) applied to build a 2,640 sf expansion to its existing school building, and adding an additional 17 new parking spaces.

The applicant must now go to the Architectural Historical Review Board for its next round of approvals.

The school has approximately 500 students and 81 employees.
