BDE: Reb Yidel Weinstock Z”l, Gabai of the Satmar Rebbe
With great sadness we report the tragic passing of Reb Yidel Weinstock Z”l of Williamsburg, a Gabai of the Satmar Rebbe.
The tragedy unfolded last night on the New York Thruway in Rockland County when a wrong way driver collided with a second vehicle. The ensuing crash involved one of the vehicles becoming an inferno, and two fatalities.
Dozens of first responders and Hatzaloh volunteers rushed to the scene around 1:40am, extricating multiple people from the vehicles in an operation that took nearly 40 minutes.
Chesed Shel Emes volunteers were later called to ensure Kovod Hames.
