Biden to Address the Nation on Taliban Takeover in Afghanistan

President Biden will be cutting short his vacation in Camp David today to address the nation about the dramatic fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban at 3:45 PM, Monday afternoon.

The White House has faced increased pressure following the surprise fall of the Afghan government, which just weeks ago Biden had vehemently defended as being capable at stemming the Taliban advance.
