Brazilian Police, Mossad Uncover Hezbollah Plot to Attack Jewish Targets
Brazilian Federal Police, with the help of the Mossad, have launched an operation to prevent terrorist attacks which are being planned against Jewish communities in Brazil.
The announcement stated that police are attempting to dismantle organizations planning attacks and “recruiting Brazilians to carry out extreme acts in the country.”
Two temporary arrest warrants have been issued, and raids have been conducted at 11 locations across Minas Gerais, São Paulo, and the federal capital of Brasília. One suspect was arrested at Sao Paulo’s Guarulhos International Airport right after he landed from Lebanon.
