BREAKING: Arrest Made in Unprovoked Attack Friday Night

An arrest has been made by the Spring Valley Police Department in the unprovoked assault on a Jewish family Friday night.

As previously reported on Monsey.info, a heimishe couple walking with their children Friday night were assaulted by a man, described as a tall African American male, in an unprovoked attack.

Video of the incident shows as the family is approached by the assailant as they walked down West Street in Spring Valley at approximately 9:30pm. The assailant begins to tangle with the father as the rest of the family runs away.

The video shows that the assailant fled the scene after the father fought back, and the police were initially unable to find him.

Today, he was arrested.

“The suspect wanted for the vicious attack Friday night in Spring Valley was just arrested,” Rockland Chaverim Tweeted. “Great job by the Spring Valley Police Detectives.”
