Chaverim of Rockland welcomed two new vehicles this past Friday, at an inauguration attended by volunteers, local officials, and Rockland residents.

“We at Chaverim of Rockland want to publicly express our gratitude to @goldstar_restoration for their kind donation of two brand-new vehicles and equipment,” Chaverim of Rockland wrote on Instagram. “We appreciate the elected officials and law enforcement agencies who participated at the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday.”

The ribbon cutting, which inaugurated both the F-150 Pickup Truck and Chevy Tahoe response vehicle, was attended by Town of Ramapo Supervisor Michael Specht and Ramapo Police Chief Marty Reilly.

The two new vehicles were already fully equipped with a full variety of tools, including shop vacs, flood fans, sump pumps, generators, and more.
