by Monsey.info

New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo has released guidelines for child care and day camps in preparation for their opening during the summer months of 2020.

The guidelines published brought expected restrictions, including separating children into groups of 10 or less, and ensuring distance between the groups.

Interaction between the groups were ordered minimized according to the mandatory guidelines, with masks required for the staff.

Happily, pool activities were allowed by group, setting the stage for a full and exciting summer.

These guidelines only covered day camps and child care centers, leaving overnight camps still awaiting to learn of their fate.
