
Child Struck As They Exited School Bus in Monsey, Not Seriously Injured

A child was struck by a car as they exited a school bus in Monsey Tuesday, Ramapo Police reported.
The incident occurred around 5:30pm Tuesday afternoon near the corner of Monsey Blvd and Maple Ave.
Hatzolah and EMS responded to the accident, and treated the child for non life threatening injuries.
Police reported that the child was struck by a driver that failed to stop for a school bus with its red stop lights flashing, causing an accident.
The driver was issued a summons over the incident.
The child was transported to Westchester Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.
