Congratulations, Seven New County Legislators Sworn Into Office

Congratulations to Rockland’s Seven New County Legislators.

During its organizational meeting on Wednesday, the Rockland County Legislature seated seven newly-elected members, including the first African American woman elected to the board. District Attorney Tom Walsh had the honor of swearing in Legislator Jay Hood (Chairman), Aney Paul, Rockland County Legislator, District 14, and Clerk to the Legislature Laurence O. Toole.

“We would like to thank and wish the newly sworn in legislators; Paul Cleary (D-Garnerville), Ray Sheridan III (R-Pearl River), Beth Davidson (D-Nyack), Will Kennelly (R-Congers), Jesse Malowitz (D-Suffern), Tom Diviny (R-Pearl River), and Dana Greene Stilley (D-Piermont) much success in their first terms in office,” the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office wrote on Facebook. “The Rockland County District Attorney’s Office looks forward to working with the returning and new legislators on behalf of the people of Rockland County.”
