Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney Meets With Activists and Officials in Monsey

Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney who’s running for Congress NY17 covering Rockland met with local community activists and elected officials on Tuesday afternoon in Monsey.

This is one of many meetings that Congressman Maloney has attended in Rockland.

Maloney came to listen and understand the community’s needs, hearing issues that were raised including the need to upgrade infrastructure, sidewalks, the constant attacks against the Orthodox Jewish community and see how Washington can help with our Private schools.

He was also commended for his help and aid he procured for his current district, which includes Kiryas Joel, over the past few years.

Town trustees were impressed by the Congressman’s ability to deliver tangible results and his ability to use the levers of power at his disposal to advocate and deliver for his constituents. His relationships, from the President to cabinet secretaries across the federal government, aren’t used for his own needs. Rather they are used to help his constituents

The large group of trustees and activists broke into spontaneous and emotional celebration when Congressman Maloney was thanked for his leadership role in the campaign for Pidyon Shvuyim. He was a leading member of Congress who pushed and helped several heimishe yidden obtain help under the First Step Act signed into law by President Trump.
