County Approves Design of New Walking Path in New City

Rockland County Executive Ed Day approved $179,300 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds for the engineering design of the Demarest Kill – Dutch Garden Walking Path that will connect the two parks. The new path in New City will span from the rear of the Zebrowski-Morahan Demarest Kill Park, run along the back of the County parking lot and connect to the path adjacent to the County Courthouse leading up to Dutch Garden Park.

The project is expected to be complete in Fall 2025.
