Cuomo Brings Schedule Up For Opening Houses Of Worship
by Monsey.info
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has moved up the timetable for allowing houses of worship to open with 25% occupancy to phase 2 instead of phase 4.
The change has a major impact the Jewish communities of New York State, as it means that Shuls will be allowed the additional occupancy within a few weeks.
These changes are still fluid though, with strong worry of a disastrous second wave of the COVID-19 virus due to the large protests that have spread across the state. Few, if any of the protests followed basic social distancing guidelines.
