Cuomo Declares State of Emergency For Parts of New York State

Governor Andrew Cuomo declared a state of emergency for parts of New York State due to the lingering snow storm that has crippled upstate New York.
In a weet, cuomo wrote that “I am declaring a state of emergency for Albany, Columbia, Greene, Rensselaer, Schenectady, Saratoga and Ulster Counties.”
He also said he is “deploying 300 members of the National Guard to assist with snow removal and clean-up operations in these counties.”
In another tweet, Cuomo noted that State Troopers had responded to more than 750 storm related emergencies.
The storm is expected to continue through Tuesday morning.
