Early Election Voting In Rockland County
by Monsey.info
With the threat of an early poll closure by the governor due to the COVID-19 “Red Zone”, early voting might just be the only in-person polls in Rockland County this election.
According to reports, the governor has contemplated shutting the polling sites on the day of the election, November 3rd, allegedly to contain the spread of the virus.
To combat that possibility, many are advocating that people use their early voting sites from October 24, 2020 through November 1, 2020 to make sure that their vote counts.
Many Rockland residents may vote at the Ramapo Town Hall in Suffern located at 237 Route 59. Other early voting polling places are located in:
– Garnerville – Havestraw Town Hall at 1 Rosman Rd
– New City – Clarkstown Town Hall at 10 Maple Ave
– Orangeburg – Orangetown Town Hall at 26 West Orangeburg Rd
Dates and hours may vary depending on where you live, but as of Monday 10/20/20 all of the 4 early voting sites have the same dates and times available to vote early:
Oct 24, 2020 -9am-2pm
Oct 25, 2020 -9am-2pm
Oct 26, 2020-9am-5pm
