Father and Son Assaulted in NJ in Vicious Attack

Two Chassidic Jewish men were brutally beaten in an assault in Newark NJ Thursday. The two men were a father and son business duo, and the motive for the assault is under investigation.

A Father and son business duo were assaulted Thursday while they were in Newark NJ. The assault allegedly occurred around 3:00pm at Freeman Street near Fleming Street.

The assailants allegedly used a fire extinguisher to beat the pair, leaving the father in Critical condition.

Hatzolah of Newark and NJ Statewide Hatzolah both responded to the emergency call and transported them to University Hospital.

The father is said to be in critical condition with a serious head injury. The son is in serious, but stable condition.
