Flooding Still A Threat as Weakened Henri Meanders Over NY, NJ
The slow-rolling system named Henri it taking its time drenching the Northeast with rain, lingering early Monday atop a region made swampy by the storm’s relentless downpour.
After pelting New York and New Jersey with massive amounts of rainfall Saturday and Sunday, Henri weakened to a tropical depression Sunday night.
With the ground already saturated, a flood watch remains in effect for much of the tri-state area through Monday evening as Henri meanders over the region.
