by CrownHeights.info

Four more victims have been identified in the tragic collapse of the Champlain Tower South in Surfside, FL.

While the police did not initially identify the four, leaving it up to the families to make the announcements, two of them have already been identified as Yehuda Aryeh Leib and Ruth Oliwkowicz OBM.

The couple, who lived in the Champlain Tower South, had a connection to Chabad through their daughter, Mrs. Leah Fouhal, who lives in Chicago.

In June of 2019, the couple joined in the joyous occasion of the completion of a Sefer Torah in Chicago, which was donated by the family to Yeshivas Ohr Eliyahu – Lubavitch Mesivta of Chicago.

At present, 132 occupants of the collapsed building have been accounted for, while 152 remain missing.

Rescue teams from as far as Israel and Mexico are working tirelessly to dig through the debris, searching for any survivors.
