Four People Found Dead In Clarkstown Home In Murder Suicide

On Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 12:20 am, officers from the Clarkstown Police Department responded to 10 Clydesdale Ct. in New City to perform a welfare check.

Upon arrival officers made entry to the residence of the above-referenced location and discovered four deceased persons. The deceased were all identified as members of the Morgan family, Watson Morgan, 49/M, Ornela Morgan 43/F, and their two sons, ages 10 and 12. All four were found to have gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene.

Mr. Watson Morgan is employed as a sergeant with the Bronxville (NY) Police Department. At this phase of the investigation it is believed that Watson killed his wife and two children, prior to killing himself with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. A handgun was recovered at the scene. This investigation is of an isolated incident and the public is not in any danger.
