From Israel to Florida, Then to Rockland County With Love

by Monsey.info

A beautiful story of Chesed, birth, and hope made a circle around the globe starting in Israel, traveling to Florida, and culminating with a precious moment in Rockland County.

The story of Chesed begins with Wesley Hills residents David Sofer and Rivky Kleiman, who have given their lives to assist families abroad in need of emergency medical treatment in the United States.

The story of birth begins in Israel, where little Noa was born, a beautiful baby girl with a life threatening condition who was written off by local doctors as having no chance of survival.

“Noa was born with a collapsed trachea and was given no chance of survival, but thanks to the incredible skills of a surgeon in Tampa, her condition was corrected, and she is now a healthy baby girl!”

The story of hope brings these two stories together when Noa was flown with her father to Tampa Florida, where she found the perfect surgeon to give her a second chance at life.

On Wednesday, David Sofer and Rivky Kleiman brought Noa and her father to the Ramapo Police Department in Rockland County, where the officers had a chance to hold Noa and celebrate the new start to her story.

“Dr Seth Kurtz, David and Rivky provided support and care for Noa and her family during their stay, and today they were able to send them back home with a happy ending,” The Ramapo Police Department wrote on social media. “Let’s celebrate this inspiring story of hope and resilience!”
