He could run, but he couldn’t hide.

In an exchange of fire over Yom Tov, Israeli troops finally put an end to the life of Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas and orchestrator of the October 7th attack.

According to reports, it is believed that Sinwar and several of his bodyguards had recently left from a nearby Tunnel, and were attempting to gather supplies for an extended stay, when they were spotted by Israeli soldiers. The soldiers then opened fire on the group, causing them to hide in a building before it was destroyed later by tank fire and other explosives. Almost the entire encounter was filmed by an Israeli drone, with footage being released later that night.

A statement was released earlier by the Spokesman for the Israel Defense Force, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said “Yahya Sinwar, the Leader of the Hamas Terrorist Organization who was responsible for the October 7th Massacre is Dead. Sinwar was responsible for the most Brutal Attack against Israel in our History when Terrorists from Gaza invaded Israel; massacred Israelis in their Homes; raped our Women; burned entire Families alive and took over 250 Men; Women; Children and Babies as Hostages in Gaza.”

“101 Hostages still remain in captivity in Gaza. For the past year, Sinwar tried to escape Justice. He Failed. We said we would find him and bring him to Justice, and we did. It was Yahya Sinwar who decided to wage War with Israel while hiding behind Civilians in Gaza.”
