Good Samaritan Hospital Gets an Upgrade To Level 3 Trauma Center

Traumatic injuries are on the rise in Rockland, Orange and Bergen counties, and a new local option for 24/7/365 trauma care is now available to support our communities.

Good Samaritan Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network, has been designated as a Level III Adult Trauma Center by the New York State Department of Health. This new center has a direct link to the Level I adult and pediatric trauma services at WMCHealth’s Westchester Medical Center and Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital should the need arise.

The upgrade will provide a significant rise in the hospitals abilities, giving the residents of Rockland County better care closer to home.
