Hatzalah Orlando Visits Osceola County Fire Rescue Stations and Sheriff’s Deputies to say Thank You

On Sunday Chol Hamoed, first responders from Hatzalah Orlando visited with rescue crews at Osceola County Fire Rescue station 71 and 73 to thank them for their service and for working seamlessly alongside Hatzalah during the very busy Passover holiday.

Additionally, Hatzalah representatives also visited with deputies from the Osceola County Sheriff’s office.

The visits were part of Hatzalah Orlando’s “Thank You Tour,” recognizing the hard work and dedication of local first responders in the Orlando region.

The visits also gave the visiting Hatzalah Orlando members an opportunity to learn more about the work the emergency responders do as well as showcase how Hatzalah operates.

“We are so grateful for the partnership we have with the local Fire Rescue crews,” said Dovid Goldwasser, one of the supervisors for Hatzalah Orlando. “They are always there to help us when we call on them, and we are committed to assisting them when they need us. After many years of working together, we are truly a collaborative team, and Hatzalah is proud to work alongside these extraordinary professionals.”

The visits come at a time of growth for the local Orlando Jewish community, and this kind of collaboration will benefit the local Jewish community and the annual Pesach visitors moving forward.

Hatzalah is completing another successful Pesach season with tens of thousands of Jewish visitors enjoying the Orlando region. With a team of over 50 Florida licensed paramedics and EMT’s, Hatzalah Supervisors reports that the organization has already responded to over one hundred calls for medical assistance, with many of them serious. Hatzalah Orlando has worked hard to prepare for the mass influx of visitors and asks the community to please be there for the organization so it can continue to build and grow its local operations. Hatzalah Orlando is the only local Hatzalah organization in the Orlando region & is not related financially to any other Hatzalah chapter in New York or Israel.
