Head on Collision Sends Drivers To The Hospital

A head on collision on South Mountain Road sent two people to the hospital Monday morning.

The two vehicles, a Jeep SUV and sedan, collided on a bend in the road around 8:30am, sending both vehicles partially off the road.

According to the police, only minor injuries were reported, and multiple ambulances were called to the scene.

The road remained closed to traffic for over an hour.
