Home Intruder Arrested With the Help of Rockland Chaverim

This is most definitely not the way you want to be woken up in the early hours of the morning.

A Jewish family living on Parkview Dr. in Spring Valley awoke in shock around 2:00am to find that an intruder had broken into their home, and was still there.

While the husband engaged the intruder, the wife called Rockland Chaverim, who in minutes had their night Patrol and local volunteers on scene.

“B”H we had our night patrol units and several other members in the area that were there less than 3 minutes later,” Chaverim told Monsey.info.

The volunteers were able to detain the intruder until the Spring Valley Police Department arrived, and took the man into custody.

Thankfully no one was injured in the incident.
