House Passes Biden COVID-19 Bill with $1,400 Checks, Will Likely Be Signed On Friday
President Biden said Wednesday that he will sign the just-passed $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan Act on Friday.
The bill passed in the House of Representatives on Wednesday with no Republican support after a party-line 50-49 vote in the Senate.
“On Friday, I look forward to signing the American Rescue Plan into law at the White House – a people’s law at the people’s house,” Biden said in a statement.
