India Intelligence Agency Published Terror Alert Over Rosh Hashana

India’s Intelligence agency has published a country-wide terror alert over the possibility of an attack targeting Jewish citizens.

“Jewish holiday to start on September 6 onwards as per intel input terror groups can again target Israeli citizens or Jewish sites which holds religious value,” the alert said.

The alert was sent to all police departments ahead of Rosh Hashana, bolstering security at all Jewish and Israeli sites.

“We have shared the alert with various police forces across the country. And if required then the security of such establishments will be increased,” an official was reported as having said.

In 2008, terrorists made a multi-site attack in Mumbai, one of which was the Nariman Chabad House, where the terrorists murdered multiple people, including the Chabad Shluchim Gavriel and Rivky Holtzberg.
