Interim Police Chief Announced For Clarkstown

Captain Jeffrey Wanamaker of the Clarkstown Police Department has been named interim chief after the retirement of Chief McCulllagh.

The announcement was made during the recent Town Board meeting, with Supervisor Hoehmann making the appointment.

According to Supervisor Hoehmann, Captain Jeffrey Wanamaker’s appointment is effective and retroactive to April 25, 2021.

Chief Wanamaker stated during the ceremony, that “We will continue the great service that the Clarkstown Police Department has always provided to our community.”
