It’s Not Your Phone, T-Mobile Outage Causes Havoc in the Northeast

T-Mobile users in the Northeast had a frustrating day Tuesday as service for the mobile provider continually cut out, caused according to the company by an outage.

“A commercial power outage earlier today has caused intermittent impacts to some voice calls, data and messaging in parts of the Northeast,” the company wrote in a statement. “Our teams will continue working on full service restoration”.

The outages and shoddy service began Tuesday around noon, according to reports, centered primarily around the New York City area, but were reported throughout the northeast United States.
