Jewish Man Assaulted In Unprovoked Attack In Spring Valley

A heimishe couple walking with their children Friday night were assaulted by a man in an unprovoked attack.

Video of the incident shows as the family is approached by the assailant as they walked down West Street in Spring Valley at approximately 9:30pm. The assailant begins to tangle with the father as the rest of the family runs away.

Social media reports indicated that the assailant was an African-American male who fled the scene after the father fought back.

Police and EMS arrived soon after, but the assailant was not able to be found.
