Kids Safety Day Hosted by Chaverim of Rockland

District Attorney Tom Walsh joined Chaverim of Rockland and law enforcement agencies, first responders, and members of the community for an event in Ramapo that focused on safety and fun activities for kids.

Hiosted by Rockland Chaverim, the event drew hundreds of children at which over 5,000 helmets were distributed at the event to promote bike safety.

First responders were on hand to meet children and answer any question they may have.

We thank all the first responders who were involved with this successful event and thank the organizers and sponsors for their dedication to keeping our kids safe.
