Letitia James Announces Run for NY Governor
New York Attorney General Letitia James on Friday announced she is running for governor of New York.
The announcement was made on Twitter a day after multiple people directly familiar with her plans told the Associated Press James would soon announce her run.
James will enter the race as a formidable candidate for the Democratic nomination just months after issuing a damning report that drove Andrew Cuomo from office in a sexual harassment scandal.
