Life Saved As Injured Hiker Rescued By Rockland Chaverim

An injured hiker was rescued by Rockland Chaverim this week in a wooded area near Monsey.

According to Rockland Chaverim, the hiker had been injured and unable to leave the woods on their own, so Chaverim’s highly trained Search and Rescue Team went in to get him.

The man was found injured and in need of immediate medical treatment. He was removed from the forest and transported by Hatzoloh to the hospital.

While the rescue was ongoing, Chaverim received a second call for two teenagers lost in another close by wooded area after leaving a hiking trail.

Both were found safe and healthy and were escorted out of the woods.
