A major accident Wednesday afternoon shut down Route 45 between Ewing Ave and Karnell St in Spring Valley. The Driver was rushed to the hospital in Critical condition.

Police shut down Route 45 between Ewing Ave and Karnell St in Spring Valley Wednesday afternoon, after a serious accident.

The accident occurred at the intersection of E Hickory St. and N Main St in Spring Valley, around 2:00pm.

One vehicle involved had hit a pole, severely damaging the vehicle.

the fire department was called to extricate the driver, who was found unconscious and not breathing. he was rushed to the hospital in Critical Condition.

The accident was placed under investigation, and the road finally opened at 10:30pm.
