Mehadrin Dairy Announces Price Increase As Inflation Soars

In a letter published Monday, Mehadrin Dairy, which also covers products labeled under J&J, announced that some of their products will see a price increase, again.
“We would like to inform you that, effective November 21st, 2021, we will be increasing our prices on some of our products,” the memo reads.
The reasons provided for the price increase was increase in the price of raw materials and transportation costs.
Prices across the country have skyrocketed over the last two years, with inflation leading the reason for price increases and compounded with a serious supply chain problem.
Prices on nearly all items jumped more than 10% in the last two years, with this past year seeing a record 5.4% increase.
Compounded with supply chain issues, prices could be as much as 40% higher on some items.
With Chanukah just weeks away, suppliers are advising that people buy their chanukah items early, as much of the annual Chanukah items remain in transit, weeks after they should have already hit the shelves.
