Monsey Beis Chaya Mushka To Close For Three Days After Staff Member Exposed
by Monsey.info
The Monsey Beis Chaya Mushka High School has announced a three day closure as the school is sanitized and disinfected.
The move was announced in a message to the parents after one of the teachers in the school was exposed last week.
The Department of Health was contacted and three steps are being taken to mitigate the xposure.
a) The school should be closed for 3 days and thoroughly cleaned .(this does not necessarily include the Cheder part of the building.)
b) All members of Staff and Students of MBCM should continue to act with caution and keep social distancing and washing hands etc. often.
c) Any student who was taught in the last week by Mrs. Lipitz ‘תח should exercise great caution BUT they do NOT have to self quarantine. They should not have close contact with any high risk people in their families, such as grandparents.

Dear MBCM family ‘שי
This morning one of our teachers found out she had been exposed last week and also started exhibiting symptoms. Please note that neither the teacher or her family members have tested positive. I immediately contacted the Rockland County Department of Health and they have after various deliberations given me the following instructions.
a) The school should be closed for 3 days and thoroughly cleaned .(this does not necessarily include the Cheder part of the building.)
b) All members of Staff and Students of MBCM should continue to act with caution and keep social distancing and washing hands etc. often.
c) Any student who was taught in the last week by Mrs. Lipitz ‘תח should exercise great caution BUT they do NOT have to self quarantine. They should not have close contact with any high risk people in their families, such as grandparents.
Regarding on line or call in classes please wait for further instructions. Obviously the situation is dynamic and I will keep you informed of any changes.
If, chas vesholom, any student or family member shows symptoms please do not neglect to let the school know.
With our constant Tefilos that everybody should keep healthy
