NY Grants Rockland $999,000 For Willow Creek Culvert Repair
Funding to replace a culvert carrying Willow Tree Brook under Spook Rock Road is coming from a $216.2 million state program helping 88 local governments to rehabilitate and replace bridges and culverts.
The funding, provided through the State’s BRIDGE NY initiative, will send $34,751,680 to the Hudson region. The initiative aims to make New York’s local communities stronger, its infrastructure more resilient and more equipped to mitigate the impacts of climate change, said Department of Transportation Commissioner Marie Therese Dominguez.
