Woman Fatally Shot In Wednesday Morning Shooting in Hillcrest
Update: The woman shot has since been declared dead at the hospital. The Ramapo Police Department is investigating the shooting as a homicide. Read the Press Release from RPD below:
At approximately 8:56 am, today’s date, Ramapo Police responded to a reported shooting that occurred on Inwood Dr., in the Hillcrest section of the Town of Ramapo. One person was removed from the scene by ambulance and was transported to the hospital. Ramapo Police are currently investigating this incident and there is nothing further being released at this time. Anyone witnesses or anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Ramapo PD at 845-357-2400
Police are investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital Wednesday morning in Rockland County, New York.
The shooting was reported shortly before 9 a.m. on Inwood Drive in the Hillcrest section of the Town of Ramapo.
Police said one person was taken to a local hospital. There was no word on the extent of their injuries.
