Orange and Rockland Utilities Continues To Repair Damage Due to High Winds
O&R crews are continuing to repair damage and restore electric service interruptions resulting from a winter storm with high winds and heavy rain that began lashing the region last night and is expected to continue into midmorning Friday.
O&R crews worked through the night last night under difficult weather conditions to restore service to approximately 1,500 customers whose power was knocked out during the storm. Approximately 770 customers are without power at 5:30 a.m. today.
Today, O&R crews continue to restore power to those customers who are out and address new outages as they develop.
