Ramapo Announces Mask Mandate For All Town Facilities
by Monsey.info
As of August 25th, the Town of Ramapo announced that its facilities are no longer “mask optional”, requiring visitors and employees to wear face masks.
“Please be advised that the Town of Ramapo is no longer mask/face covering optional,” the town wrote on Social Media. “Effective, August 25,2021 all visitors and employees will be required to wear a mask/face covering at all times while doing business at any Town of Ramapo facilities. Please adhere to social distancing guidelines.”
The move comes with rising fears of the Delta variant of COVID-19, which is considered more virulent and has been proven to affect children more than the original variant.
“We want to ensure we maintain a safe and healthy environment at all times,” the added.
