Ramapo Police Department PSA on COVID-19
In a continuing effort to ensure the safety of our community members, Police Officers, and First Responders, the Ramapo Police Department is recommending and requesting that any Ramapo residents who are currently self-quarantined due to COVID-19 report that information to the Ramapo Police by calling (845) 357-2400. This is a VOLUNTARY request; the information will be used to create an alert in our computer-aided dispatch system to notify First Responders including the Ramapo Police and Ramapo Emergency Medical Services. This will let our first responders be aware of the need for special resources in the event that they respond to your home in an emergency which will allow them to be better prepared to help you. Your information WILL NOT be shared with any outside organizations and will be removed from the database once the alert expires. Thank you for your assistance and as stated above this would be reported to us on a voluntary basis.
Any questions regarding this PSA may be directed to Administrative Lt. Kevin Lee at (845) 357-2400.
