Ramapo Police Department Receives Doughnuts In Chanukah Appreciation
by Monsey.info
Doughnuts and Police Officers may be an old stereotype, but they are still welcome all the same.
On Wednesday, the Ramapo Police Department wrote a thank you on their facebook page for a delivery of doughnuts from Hatzoloh of Rockland County.
Wednesday’s doughnut delivery was followed by one from Chaverim of Rockland, with the police Department thanking them on facebook as well.
“Thank you for all you do, all through the year, and keeping our community safe” a note from Chaverim read. “Happy holidays.”
The gifts are par for the norm when it comes to Chanukah, where doughnuts are consumed in the Jewish world at an alarming rate.
“Well deserved Town of Ramapo Police Department,” responded Chaverim on facebook. “This is just a small token of appreciation. ENJOY!!”
