Ramapo Police Requesting Assistance to ID Package Thief

The Ramapo police Department is asking the community for their assistance in ID’ing a package thief that walked off with a package from a local home.

“Ramapo PD is currently seeking information regarding a theft of a package that occurred in the northeast portion of Ramapo,” they wrote on Facebook. “Please contact our detective bureau if you recognize the suspect in the video.”

These package thieves, regularly called porch pirates, tend to follow delivery trucks in the area and pick up the packages before the homeowners notice it was delivered.
