Ramapo Police Weekly Report

Here is a summary of the Ramapo Police Departments activity for the week of April 26th, 2020 through May 2nd, 2020.

Officers responded to 2114 calls including:

-41 Alarm Activations,
-28 Fire Related Calls,
-632 Community Policing Reports; 200 of which were checks of our school facilities and properties,
-7 Domestic Incidents, with 1 resulting in an arrest,
-23 Motor Vehicle Crashes, 7 of which involved injuries, 2 of which were hit and runs,
-77 Medical Emergencies, Plus an Additional 89 Dispatched for Other Agencies,

Arrests for the week involved various charges including Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Menacing, Criminal Impersonation, Grand Larceny, Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Disorderly Conduct, Assault, Criminal Mischief, Bench Warrant, and Traffic Offenses.
