Recidivist Car Thief Arrested Yet Again After Stealing A Car From Repair Shop

A recidivist thief who has a history of car theft is back on the streets being arrested twice in the last two weeks for car thefts.
This past Friday, Ramapo Police Officer Genito was on patrol in the town when he noticed a vehicle that had previously been reported stolen.
After stopped the car, which was occupied by a 17-year-old male driver and two 16-year-old female passengers, Genito discovered that the driver had stolen the vehicle out of a repair shop in Nyack after retrieving keys from the night drop-box.
The 17-year-old driver was arrested and released to his parents on a Family Court appearance ticket.
This same individual was also arrested the previous week by Orangetown Police Department for a similar incident.
