Kupath Ezra, which has been assisting Jewish families in Rockland County for 60 years, celebrated the opening of its new Spring Valley thrift shop Thursday afternoon.
Kupath Ezrah of Rockland County, established 60 years ago, celebrated the opening of it’s new thrift shop in Spring Valley Thursday afternoon.
The ceremony, which included high profile attendees, began with words from the Mayer of Spring Valley, Alan Simon.
County Legislator Ahron Wieder, spoke at the event, followed by
Rabbi Feivel Mashinsky, the head of Kupath Ezra.
Spring Valley Liaison Rabbi Yisroel Kahan gave a bracha as the mayor cut the ribbon, officially opening the new shop.
Also in attendance was Spring Valley Trustee candidate, Israel Isenbach.
Kupath Ezra supplies families with physical necessities, as well as funds for such things as utilities, food and shelter.
