Unofficial Election Results For Tuesday’s Elections

The unofficial primary election results for Rockland County are in, and they are as expected.


The Democratic presidential primary saw an overwhelming support for Presidential hopeful Joe Biden, with nearly 8,000 votes counted as of 12:05am. The runner up in Rockland County was Bernie Sanders, with under 2,000 votes.

For congress, the winner appears to be Mondair Jones, with 6,822 votes or 40.35%. The runner up is Adam Schleifer, with 4,536 votes or 26.83%.

For State Senator, the winner was Justin L. Sweet, with 6,225 votes or 47.12%. The runner up was Elijah Reichlin- Melnick, with 3,954 votes or 29.93%.


For congress, the Republican primary winner is Maureen McArdle Schulman with 2,702 votes or 74.41% of the Republican vote. The runner up is Yehudis Gottesfeld, with 823 votes or 22.67%.

For State Senator, the winner was Bill Weber, with 2,685 votes or 66.89% of the Republican vote. The runner up was Matthew R. Weinberg, with 1,261 votes or 31.42%

These results are still preliminary, and are still subject to change.
